Jake is 10 months old!

Jake is learning to walk!

Jake is so full of personality. He has started to try to walk and the kids have been loving it! They sit in a circle and Jake walks between them all. Aaron and the kids have also been teaching Jake how to raise his hand to answer questions. It is very funny. They say "raise your hand if you like milk" and then Jake raises his hand. We all laugh and then they ask another question and Jake raises his hand again. It has become a great dinner time game. I may try to upload of video of it later.

I have decided that Jake needs to sleep through the night. 10 months of feeding a baby in the middle of the night is finally getting to me. So we have begun the process and it is painful. But I am sure he will give up soon and we will all sleep through the night again. I am crossing my fingers....

Oh, those crying it out nights are tough!! You'll all be sleeping like babies soon!

I can't believe Jake is walking...

Tony and the kids taught Josh to raise his hand, too. He actually sustains people in church, too. It is so funny!

So cute! He is getting so big. I saw a baby shirt in the store today that said "All Mommy wants for Christmas is a Silent Night" How perfect is that!

That is sort of frightening to see him walking. Once they can run, the destruction seems to multiply! :-)
I hope you all get more sleep soon. And, as always, he is just gorgeous. Maybe you should bring him to Seattle to see his aunt Wendy. :-)
Just kidding, Aaron.

he just gets cuter and cuter. You are in for it now! I think you are ready for him to walk, however. Your blog is great with the christmas wallpaper and music. Nice job!

Our computer has been in the hospital, so it's great to catch up on your blog. You are our family's example of sleeping through the night, so come on Jake~! We are rooting for you!

Holy Moly! Doesn't it make you grateful you're not in Coralridge anymore? Living there and teaching the baby to sleep through the night was a family affair--extended family, the ones above, below and on each side... Good luck. It'll be worth it, as you well know.
