Day 12

We have been busy this weekend getting ready for the movers to come.

Day 11

I have been amazed lately at how much food this kid can eat. For lunch the other day this pasta dish was a huge mound on Noah's plate. I thought there was no way he would finish it. But sure enough, he finished it and less than an hour later he was getting granola bars out of the pantry.

Day 10

This morning we had some friends over for one last play date. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing woman in our ward. I have loved serving with them and have learned so much from them. I will always appreciate their support and friendship. We were able to spend the morning visiting while the kids played.
Moving is hard.

We went to Mahoney State Park and spent the afternoon swimming. During the dinner break, we played at the park and had dinner. Then we headed back into the waterpark for the last 2 hours and had a great time in the wave pool, on the slides and the diving board. I was so busy trying to keep Jake from drowning, that I have no pictures of the water adventure. But we did have a few firsts; Lucy went off the diving board! and Jake learned how to swim under water. So fun.

We love visitors! Aaron's sister Anne and her family were traveling from Iowa and stopped by for a short visit on their way to Idaho. It was so fun to spend some time with them even though it was very short. All of the kids had a great time playing kickball, legos and the Wii. We wish we had more time to spend with these cousins!

Grace and Heidi were both baptized this summer and discovered that they wore their hair the same way!

Leah is such a sweet girl. She did Lucy's hair into 2 braids and Lucy loved it.

Day 6

Our good friends the Jeppson's came to visit us! We loved having them and had a great time going to the zoo, the temple and just hanging out. I wish I had a picture of all of us together, oh well.

Day 4

Grace has really grown up these past few months. I just love hanging out with her. She has such a sweet and happy personality and a great sense of humor! She is such a great help and I have come to really rely on her. She is so good with little kids and is becoming an amazing young woman.

Day 3

This is what happens to your camera in extreme heat and humidity. The lens fogs up. I had to wipe if off between each photo, but it was so hot and humid that I could not get a clear picture.

Day 2

Our first goodbye.

Lucy and Noah had to say goodbye to their friends Jaydan and Josh Bowen. This is the first of many to come. Kind of hard.

Day 1

We went to the pedestrian bridge in downtown Omaha. It stretches across the Missouri River over to Iowa. The kids thought it was fun to be "half and half".

Baptism Day

Grace was baptized on July 10th.

We were able to do the baptism in Donnelly at my parents home. Grace's cousin Tyler was also baptized and it was so fun sharing this great day with so much family.

Grandma and Grandpa Ogden came all the way from Salt Lake and we were so glad they made that long drive!
