Happy Birthday Aaron!

We had a great time celebrating Aaron's 39th birthday! He decided to take the day off and head to the North Shore. But before we loaded up the whole family, he and I went for a morning run to the beach where he spent an hour or so catching fish in the tide pools. (His favorite pastime)
After our morning run, Aaron opened his birthday present. A waterproof camera! He (and the rest of us) were so excited. We went to a few of our favorite snorkeling places to see what kind of pictures we could get.
At Sharks Cove

After our first snorkeling stop, we went to lunch at a shrimp shack. These places are all over the North Shore and even though they are a bit scary looking from the outside, they serve some yummy shrimp!

And we always love our shave ice on the North Shore.

After lunch we went to Turtle Bay. We saw some awesome fish. Aaron and Noah took a lot of pictures of many types of fish. But I decided to just post my favorites.

This one is called Noah.

Another Noah, from a different angle.

This was a large school of fish. It was hard to catch because there were so many and they would not hold still.

Apparently there were a lot of Noah fish at Turtle Bay.

We finally found a Grace!

So cute in her snorkel gear.

This picture makes me laugh. Jake is looking so cute, and what is Noah doing back there? I love the smashed upper lip look.

Can't wait to celebrate next year. I am already planning a big 40th birthday bash! And you are all invited!
