Fears Challenged

Lucy with a frog on her head.

Cousin Olivia helped Grace and Lucy overcome their fear of holding frogs. Thanks Liv....I think.

Noah improved on his waterskiing skills and was able to get up and ski without the connecting bar that holds the skis together.

Noah loved this rope swing. It was very entertaining to watch him climb up this tree and swing off.

Jake and horses

My Dad has always loved horses. Jake was named after my dad and has adopted this same love.

No fear. Just pure happiness.

Jake loved riding by himself and was always sure to be wearing his cowboy boots!

Salina

While in Utah, we drove down to Salina to spend the day with Aaron's Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Phil. We drove up into the mountains and the kids got to fish.

After our fishing trip, we went and saw the farm and then went out to dinner. We really enjoyed our day and loved seeing everyone there.

Vacation

We had such a great time visiting our family in Utah.

We went hiking with Aunt Krista and cousin Brooklyn to Donut Falls. It was a great hike and the falls were very cool.

We always love spending time with cousins!

Jake and Brooklyn had a great time riding the rides at Lagoon together.

Summer Fun

Nature hikes in Kansas City where they all got chigger bites and have been itching like crazy for the past week! I told them not to go out into nature.

Camping with friends.

Relaxing in the hammock while camping.

Playing in the mud.

Swimming in the backyard and eating popsicles with friends.

Bike Riding

Just hanging out. Lucy and Jake have loved having Noah and Grace home all day.
We are loving our summer vacation.

A Little Catching Up

Aaron's 37th Birthday
Planting flowers
Reptiles....

Yes, my 2 year old is holding a snake...
and loving it!
Jake and Leo
Aaron and Noah went to Kansas City to go snake hunting. They brought 2 snakes home with them and against my better judgement I allowed them in the house. We now have 1 snake in the tank and 1 is missing. I know, gross. Jake likes to climb up to the shelf they were sitting on and open the lid and hold the snakes. It is a little disturbing. But Aaron is so proud.
