We spent a day visiting the church sites in Palmyra. We started at the Hill Cumorah. The kids had fun running up the hill and then rolling down.
This is the view of the temple from the Joseph Smith home.
As we entered the Sacred Grove, I tried to get a picture of the family. Jake was not interested in having a group photo and just wanted one by himself. He would only smile if he was alone. So you can see everyone else's feet in the background and his great smile.
They are all trying to sneak up on him. Can you tell who is in charge around here?

that is really funny! I am so glad you got to have your family at these amazing church sites. It is one of my favorite places!
What a magical place! I love the pictures and that you got to take your family there. Sad that Joseph Smith didn't get to enjoy that view for very long.
