Our first visitors!
My parents flew in to DC tonight. It is so good to see them.

Grace and Grandma are practicing chatting with each other on gmail.

Jeff and Brenna have been so good to help us move in. I have loved getting to know their kids better. This Janie girl is so sweet.

The kids helped stomp down paper and break down boxes. They thought it was so fun!

Boxes and paper can be so entertaining when the toys aren't unpacked yet.

After our week of vacation, we headed home.
On Monday morning the truck arrived with all of our stuff.

Day 34

We spent a day visiting the church sites in Palmyra. We started at the Hill Cumorah. The kids had fun running up the hill and then rolling down.

As we entered the Sacred Grove, I tried to get a picture of the family. Jake was not interested in having a group photo and just wanted one by himself. He would only smile if he was alone. So you can see everyone else's feet in the background and his great smile.

They are all trying to sneak up on him. Can you tell who is in charge around here?

Day 33

We stayed at a great campground. The kids had a great time canoeing, playing on the playground, playing miniature golf, swimming and riding the zipwire! We played games, played a little t-ball and ate some great food.

The kids and Aaron built this great sandcastle on the beach at Lake Erie. While they were building it, this guy walks up and says they are holding a sand castle building contest. So he came back later and our sand castle was awarded the "best medieval castle".

Lucy and Jackson are having so much fun together. It is great to be with cousins!

We went for a bike ride today. Jackson and Lucy had fun riding in the bike trailer and listening to an Ipod. Jake fell asleep riding behind me and Grace was exhausted after her ride.

Day 28

Our first adventure was the Maid of the Mist! We took a boat that takes you pretty close to the Falls. It was pretty amazing and we all got a little wet. The kids loved it.
